After years of performing solo and appearing onstage with established groups in and around the Lehigh Valley, Melody Cruz decided it was time to form a band of her own. In September of 2023, she rounded up the best musicians she knew, and Melody Cruz & The Keystones were born.

The Keystones are made up by Gavin Palmer on keyboard & electric guitar, Craig Fritchey on drums, and David Baurkot on bass. Each member comes from a rich musical background spanning from jazz to heavy metal. Their unique sonic fusion breathes new life into Cruz’s top 40 cover song choices and original music.

After their debut performance at ArtsQuest’s 2023 Oktoberfest, the band has stayed busy in the studio writing and rehearsing. Though their union is still very fresh, Melody, Gavin, Craig, and Dave are well on their way to becoming a prominent band in the ABE area.
